In Jinotega, coffee production mainly focuses on SHG (Strictly High Grown) coffee cultivated at a specific altitude. What distinguishes the coffee grown in Jinotega is the location where the plants thrive—within a dense shady forest enveloped by a white mist. These ideal conditions contribute to the resulting coffee being sweet and characterized by fruity aromas when brewed.
