China Fuyan Natural

The Fuyan farm and washing station are managed by Mrs. Na and Mr. Li. The latter, originally from Yunnan, moved to the Menglian region as a teenager together with his family. In his early years, he worked on rubber plantations before shifting to the tea industry, where he developed extensive experience.

Coffees from the Fuyan farm consistently stand out for achieving some of the highest Q scores in the entire Yunnan region—a testament to the team's dedicated daily work, strict quality control, and strong relationships built with the pickers, most of whom belong to the Lahu people, an indigenous ethnic group from the area.

The estate covers approximately 80 acres of mountainous terrain, located at altitudes between 1,600 and 1,700 meters above sea level. Among the coffee plants grow various shade-providing trees, including macadamia trees, fruit trees, and leguminous species.

In addition to coffee, the farm also produces around 7 tons of high-quality specialty tea each year. One of Fuyan’s most distinctive features is its integration with other agricultural and farming activities: chickens, fish, pigs, ducks, wild orchids, chili peppers, and Chinese herbs—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Yunnan mountains.

The export of this coffee is managed by Yunnan Coffee Traders (YCT). YCT is a pioneering force in the Chinese specialty coffee sector in Menglian County, overseeing farming operations, processing facilities, research, and training centers.
